Thomas W. Winkler is a licensed Illinois attorney and Illinois Certified Public Accountant. He has been practicing in Illinois since 1982. Tom has spoken and written on many legal topics on behalf the: Illinois Bar Association; Chicago Bar Association; American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; Illinois CPA Society; Illinois Manufacturers’ Association; National Business Institute; Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education; and many local bar associations.
John B. Sprenzel began working as a law clerk in 2002 and became a licensed Illinois attorney in 2009. John focuses his practice on the areas of property tax assessment appeals, complex business planning, commercial and residential real estate, general estate planning, and mechanics lien dispute resolution. He has been published in the Dispute Resolution Journal, a quarterly publication of the American Arbitration Association.
Our attorneys have over 35 years of experience practicing law in the State of Illinois. Our experience has been almost exclusively in the area of representing entrepreneurial individuals and protecting their personal, investment and business interests.
We serve on national associations, and have taken active roles on committees of the: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; National Association of State Boards of Accountancy; Independence Standards Board and Illinois Department of Revenue. We are active participants with the State of Illinois Board of Examiners and the Illinois CPA Society. We are involved with local chambers of commerce, homeowners associations, YMCA youth groups and church youth religious education programs, and we serve on Boards of Directors for a number of businesses and not-for-profit organizations.
